As Director of Marketing and Communications you play a crucial part in our commercial growth and for positioning us as a global leader within our segment and industry, while leading our talented team of marketing and communication specialists. You will be accountable for all marketing, communications and branding globally and for fostering a commercial and customer-centric mindset, both within the team and across the company. 

 

You will have a broad and strategic role with significant impact. You will develop and deliver on clear and focused marketing and branding strategies that help accelerate our sales, while delivering on communication strategies that spark enthusiasm, drive engagement and solidify Cegal’s position as a great place for talented people to work and thrive.

As our Director of Marketing and Communications, you will be accountable for: 

 

  • Leading and developing a world-class marketing & communication team with capabilities and mindset for future growth​ 
  • Continuous evolvement of Cegal’s profile and brand identity to ensure it stays relevant, cool, modern and attractive to strengthen our employer branding and accelerate sales globally​ 
  • Ensuring efficient and engaging internal communications companywide, supporting Cegal’s overall strategy​ 
  • Designing and managing one Cegal externally (our website, direct marketing, PR, SoMe, Customer Surveys, events, sponsorship, etc.)​ 
  • Fostering employee involvement related to both internal and external communication including events 
  • Supporting our Customer Journey and BD & Tender teams in creating a world class Customer Journey experience through excellent targeted account-based marketing reflecting market insights & trends​ 
  • Providing relevant Customer Success Stories with clear tangible business benefits​ 
  • Build and maintain the infrastructure needed to efficiently Go-To-Market with our products and services globally​ 
  • Ensuring data driven governance and operational management to ensure Marketing & Communication proactively support our Customers and Win Strategies​ 
  • Ensure Cegal is seen as a global leader in our segment and industry 

 

 

What We’re Looking For 

You are a recognized marketing leader combining a commercial mindset with valuable experience in modern marketing models, tools and channels. You have proven ability to understand and evaluate customers' needs and foster innovative solutions by driving collaborative discussions and actions. To thrive and succeed in this role you should also:​ 

 

  • Have international experience​ within B2B marketing and communication 
  • Previous leadership experience with proven mentoring and coaching skills​ 
  • Have broad expertise within marketing, branding, PR, internal communication and employer branding 
  • Have highly efficient project and stakeholder management skills​ 
  • Be analytical and data driven​ 
  • Be curious by nature and motivated by both learning and teaching 
  • Have outstanding verbal and written communication both in Norwegian and English​ 
  • Have a genuine interest in the energy sector  
  • Be determined, confident, results-oriented, self-motivated, and a team player combined with significant interpersonal skills
