We’re now seeking an Engagement Manager to play a key role in nurturing our customer relationships and ensuring the seamless delivery of contracted services. 

 

 

About the Role  

As an Engagement Manager, you’ll act as the trusted link between our large customers and Cegal’s delivery teams, ensuring services are aligned to business goals and contractual commitments are met. You’ll oversee the full lifecycle of customer contracts, from initiation through renewal, while continuously seeking ways to improve performance, increase efficiency, and deliver added value. 

You will be part of strategic planning for developing our customers and enable delivering services across all Cegal Business offerings

You’ll combine commercial awareness, operational understanding, and relationship management skills to ensure each customer engagement runs smoothly, delivers measurable outcomes, and supports long-term success. 

 

 

Key responsibilities 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, managing relationships and expectations across the engagement lifecycle.  
  • Coordinate internal teams across Sales, Delivery, Operations, and Finance to maintain alignment on all deliveries and operational continuity. 
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and value creation, including service enhancements and efficiency gains. 
  • Upsell on existing contracts
  • Support financial performance by tracking contract profitability and contributing to renewal and upsell discussions. 
  • Represent the customer internally, ensuring their needs and feedback are translated into meaningful action. 
  • Work with our Sales teams to strategize on offerings and solutions to our customers
  • Manage a team of Engineers delivering services to our customers

 

 

Who are you? 

You have a background in Oil & Gas. You thrive on building strong relationships, creating structure, and driving continuous improvement. You bring a blend of commercial understanding, service delivery knowledge, and clear communication that enable you to balance customer needs with business priorities. 

 

An ideal engagement manager will bring: 

 

  • Higher education in Business, IT, Service Management, Project Management, or similar
  • Experience in customer-facing roles within IT services, Data Management, managed services, or service delivery within Oil & Gas industry
  • Good understanding of contract management, customer governance, and service delivery frameworks 
  • Familiarity with ITSM platforms, cloud services (Azure, AWS), and tools like ServiceNow, Salesforce and Power BI
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills 
  • Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented mindset 
  • Experience with project delivery within scope and timelines. Certifications within ITIL, PRINCE2, or Agile is an advantage.
