IT Engineer

We are expanding our 24/7 Operations hub in Malaysia – our main Asian delivery centre – and are looking for skilled IT Engineers with experience in Windows environments and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (Citrix). From Malaysia, you will support mission-critical IT services for both regional and international energy customers, working closely with global teams across Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific.  

As part of our the 24/7 operations team, working hours will be 11 pm - 7 am Monday – Friday, and part of the weekend shift rotation (5AM - 1PM , 9AM-5PM , 11PM-7AM). Work during public holdiays will be required. 

What you’ll do 

As part of our operations team, you will work independently and collaboratively to ensure stable, secure and high quality IT services.  

Your contributions:

As our IT Engineer, you will:

• Provide technical expertise and operational support across multiple customer environments.
• Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Windows, SCCM, Intune, Citrix, Azure, and print services based on your expertise.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless IT service delivery.
• Implement and maintain security best practices across IT environments.
• Support cloud and hybrid IT environments, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and security.

Here are some sample tasks/responsibilities:

• O365:
  Administration and support of Office 365 environments.
   

• Windows: 
  Management and maintenance of Windows server environments.

• SCCM:
  Design and implement SCCM application packaging and software deployment across multiple customers. 
  Manage software updates, patch management (WSUS), and release management.

• Intune:
  Oversee Autopilot, Co-management, and security settings (BitLocker, Windows Hello for Business Manage software updates, patch management (WSUS), and release management.
  Manage device policies, Conditional Access, and MAM (iOS & Android).
   

• Print:
  Support and management of enterprise print solutions.
   

• Citrix:
  Citrix Cloud and Citrix on-premises environments management.
   

• Azure:
  Administration and management of Azure cloud services.
   

• Application operation and support:
  Operation and support of enterprise applications.
  Windows server maintenance.
   

Who you are?

• Proven experience in IT operations and enterprise infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with one or more of the following (depending on your focus area): O365, SCCM, Intune, Windows, Print, Citrix, Azure, or application support.

• Ability to manage and maintain IT environments, ensuring stability, security, and performance.
• Experience with troubleshooting and support for virtual machine issues.

Formal requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (relevant work experience may compensate for the lack of a degree).
• Proven experience in IT operations, infrastructure, or enterprise support.
• Experience with one or more of the following (depending on your focus area): O365, SCCM, Intune, Windows, Print, Citrix, Azure, or application support.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102), Azure Administrator Associate, or similar are a plus but not required.
