Regional Manager Cloud Operations (MEA)

As the Regional Cloud Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of cloud operations within our designated region. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of cloud services to our customers, while also driving process improvement initiatives and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team.

As a Regional Cloud Operations Manager, you will:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of Cloud Operations within the region.
• Grow and develop talented teams in the Cloud Operations Unit.
• Ensure compliance with global policies, processes, and systems by regional Cloud Operations employees.
• Provide high-quality support and operational services to customers.
• Serve as escalation point for customer issues within the region and escalate matters in accordance with the agreed escalation matrix.
• Monitor and enforce contractual requirements with customers, collaborating with regional and central teams for effective communication and implementation.
• Offer valuable input for process improvement initiatives during regular meetings with senior management.
• Facilitate smooth transitions from projects to operations in accordance with the Release Advisory Board (RAB) process.
• Approve project deliveries on behalf of the region in RAB meetings.

What are your hard skills?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in cloud operations management or a similar role, with at least 5 years of experience in managing operations in a large-scale environment.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, including but not limited to Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform and associated services.
• Proficiency in ITIL practices and methodologies, with focus on IT service management processes.
• Experience in contract management and negotiation.
• Project management experience from initiation to completion.
• Certifications such as ITIL Foundation, Azure Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect are highly desirable.
