Sr. IT Engineer – Azure and Public Cloud

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior IT Engineer to strengthen our expertise in Public Cloud department. You will become an integral part of a social and professionally strong department of skilled technologists with specialized competence in Azure.
As a Senior IT Engineer, you will quickly earn the trust of our clients as a problem-solving advisor, responsible for overseeing daily operations (incident, problem, and change management), and planning increased cloud adoption, solution design, optimization, as well as cloud administration and monitoring.
You will become an important part of a social and professionally strong department with 15 skilled technologists with expertise in Azure and Automation. You will thrive in a dynamic role encompassing a broad range of tasks and enjoy being a colleague who shares experiences and contributes to the team's success.
Who are you?

- Oversee daily operations including incident, problem, and change management.
- Plan and execute increased cloud adoption strategies.
- Administer and monitor cloud environments.
- Collaborate with clients based in Norway and provide expert advice on Azure and public cloud technologies.
Required qualifications:
- Proven experience as an IT Engineer or cloud architect with a passion for Azure and cloud technology.
- Strong expertise in managing and optimizing Azure environments.
- Solid understanding of networking, security, storage, and databases within Azure.
- Proficiency in cloud-based infrastructure architecture. Experience with tools like Terraform, Bicep, or Pulumi is a plus.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
- University degree (Bachelor or master) in computer science, information technology or related field. Professional experience may compensate for the absence of formal educational qualifications.
Note: The position is required to collaborate with clients based in Norway. Therefore, this position requires a specific work schedule from 3pm to 11pm. Candidates should be prepared for this timing, which includes late evenings. This schedule is designed to support our operations and client needs effectively.
