Principal Cloud Solution Architect - AI  

 

What happened to analytics? What is GPT and LLM; is machine learning dead? What emerging technologies will impact our industry in the next 5-10 years? What will the future architecture of mission critical solutions look like? How do we separate between hype and what will cause lasting industry changes? How do we adapt to not just keep up, but stay ahead of our competitors and anticipate our customers’ coming needs?

 

These are some of the questions you will spend your days exploring, hypothesizing, and hopefully – solving - as our Principal Cloud Solution Architect and member of our Technology and Architecture Board. The answers you come up with will shape how we develop as company, influence how we structure our internal systems and process, and crucially, help our customers successfully face some of the most pressing challenges of our time.

 

About the role

We are establishing a technology and architecture board, that will have a global remit in exploring how cutting-edge and emerging technology and innovation can be deployed to improve our ways of working, our enterprise architecture and the design of our products and services. We are leading with cloud first, and are heavily centered around a Microsoft tech stack. In this role, you will design sophisticated architecture that balances functionality, cost and performance with scalability, reusability, and extensibility. You will be pivotal in shaping and implementing our technological vision, and in supporting the implementation of scalable tech solutions across our business units.

As Principal Cloud Solution Architect you will have both an advisory and executive role, working closely with both internal stakeholders and architects, external partners and customers. The role reports directly to our Chief Technology Officer.

 

Your focus:

  • Contribute to Cegal’s technological and architectural vision and the implementation of coherent technology and architect strategies
  • Provide complete architecture designs that consider functionality, cost, performance, scalability, reusability, and extensibility.
  • Help departments to create and use winning and scalable technologies within Cloud Operations, Managed Services and Software development
  • Contribute to successful strategic customer deals and partnerships.
  • Represent Cegal as a tech evangelist and thought leader by giving presentations at conferences or webinars
  • Ensure that the technological resources are aligned with the company's business needs
  • Identify new technologies, industry trends, and best practices, which should be incorporated into policies & roadmap.
  • Ensuring all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards.

 

Who are you?

  • Recognized and experienced technology architect
  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
  • Extensive industry knowledge with an eye towards the future
  • Deep technical understanding combined with commercial and result oriented mindset
  • Ability to conduct hands-on technological proof of concepts, analyses and research
  • Experience in solution architecture and leading project teams
  • Good communicator who can provide clarity, engagement and understanding of complex topics
  • Excellent team player with the ability to foster enthusiasm and collaboration at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to nurture effective networks and professional partnerships
  • Preferably certifications in Microsoft Azure AZ-305 or AZ-400
