Senior Technical Sales Specialists

 

Cegal is looking for 2 Senior Technical Sales Specialists to join their Tech Black Belts team.

 

The Technical Sales Specialist roles are strategic for Cegals future growth, and you will be able to drive significant impact on our ability to reach the short- and long-term goals for the company.

These are exciting positions where the successful candidates will be responsible for technical pre-sale and design activities towards existing- and new global strategic accounts, including lead tech roles in BIDs and relevant opportunities. 

 

The successful candidates will also work closely with the Product department to continue expanding customer-driven products & services and should have demonstrable sales and client-facing skills, a good understanding of the global energy & renewables market, and experience from technical designs and solution descriptions. 

 

The positions will be part of a devoted global team reporting to the Director of Tech Black Belts (based in Oslo, Norway).

Work tasks and responsibilities

  • Key technical expert in customer meetings and presentations
  • Responsible for technical designs, plans and descriptions in BIDs
  • Develop new solution designs for our most strategic customers
  • Be a strong link and team player in a collaboration matrix with relevant stakeholders in the respective BU’s

 

Personal Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of and ability to convey technical IT infrastructure and architecture, as well as comprehensive value chain understanding
  • Cloud Specialist capabilities and mindset towards cloud technologies, such as Azure, AWS, GCP.
  • Competence and mindset for high-level technical designs drawings and schematics. Experience from MS Visio, Lucid etc. is beneficial
  • Minimum 3-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent, relevant experience can compensate for formal education
  • Well founded communication skills; proficient in spoken and written English to business-standard
