Magne: “Why, thanks for asking. I'm all about teamwork that's big on giving and getting feedback and really coaching each other. My style? More guiding, less micromanaging. I envision a team that thrives on cooperation across all our products and deliveries.  Let’s make things happen together!”

 

“So, what kind of person are you looking to add to this stellar team?”

 

Magne: “We're looking for someone who’s been in the software dev game for a couple of years, say 2-4, tops. You should be eager to learn and have some experience with programming languages like C# or Java.  You also need to know their way around the essential tech stuff—like unit testing, source code control, and CI/CD pipelines.

 

Some of our products have strong geoscience foundation, which help our customers realize more of their potential, so a geoscience background can be beneficial, but not necessary.  
 

But beyond the tech stuff, we really want someone who’s all about growing and learning. Be sensible when needed but daring when possible! Sometimes the straightforward solution is best, but not always.

You should enjoy working in a team where picking up new skills from each other is what it’s all about.”
