Business Consultants - Application Management

We are looking for a new Business Consultant – Application Management to join our global technology powerhouse, specialized in energy and dedicated to enable a more sustainable future.

Then you are the right person to help expand Application Management Service in Cegal.

As part of our AM team, you will:

• Be responsible for Application Lifecycle Management for selected customer(s)
• Manage and govern application documentation
• Facilitate application testing and coordinate application upgrades
• Collaborate closely with Application Vendor, key user at customer site and technical personnel.
• Ensure application support/assistance is provided by Vendors or internal Cegal
• Ensure timely license and certificate handling
• Be a part of efficient change and release management
• Identify improvements to our service and be part of implementing improvements

Who are you?

• You have excellent communication and documentation skills (both in English and in Norwegian min. B2)
• You are genuinely concerned with bringing value to customer
• Structured and organized
• Able to work independently and in a team
• Willingness to learn

What are your hard skills (must have)?

• Bachelor or master’s degree within Information Technology (long experience may compensate for lack of formal education)
• Extensive knowledge in IT, understand application requirements and dependencies

Other skills that would be relevant?

• Relevant IT work experience in the oil & gas industry
• ITIL, scrum certifications
• Knowledge of various application license technology such as FlexLM
• Experience working with PowerBi
• Project experience
• Workflow within the Subsurface applications
