IT Rig Consultant

As an IT Rig Consultant, you will be part of our Offshore Rig team and contribute to the further enhancement of this service. You will work on-prem at customer sites, including offshore rigs, and in-house from Cegal towards the customer, individually and in teams. You may also work on projects and assignments over shorter or longer periods while maintaining a good connection with other colleagues in Cegal.

This position will enable opportunities for offshore and rig travel combined with other onshore IT assignments. If you are passionate about customer support and constantly looking to expand your knowledge and skills in different areas of IT, we encourage you to apply for this opportunity.

Responsibilities: 

As our IT Rig Consultant, you will have a range of experience in different areas of IT and be able to provide technical guidance and support to customers.

• IT Operations and consultancy deliveries for on-prem and cloud solutions.
• Ensure clients' compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Follow-up stakeholders and resources for our services offshore and onshore.

Who are you?

• Relevant higher education and experience within IT consultancy
• Excellent problem solver, able to identify client needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Motivated to remain up to date on emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Supportive, empathic, and enthusiastic about helping your customers and colleagues succeed.
• Able to clearly present technical information in both technical and non-technical terms.
• Preferably hold ITIL and Project Management certifications.
• Fluent in both Norwegian (min. B2) and English.
