International Sales Director - Hydrocarbon Accounting

We are now strengthening the team with a dedicated commercial contributor to further speed up our global expansion strategies. As International Sales Director you will define and implement a global sales strategy, manage an existing international customer portfolio and drive commercial growth by actively promoting and selling EnergyX’s solutions to prospective clients within the global oil and gas sector.

You key contributions:

 

Sales and Account Management: 

  • Define and take ownership of a global sales strategy in collaboration with Director of EnergyX
  • Manage an existing customer portfolio, while identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities.

  • Build and maintain a sales pipeline, developing strategies to generate new business. 

  • Conduct product presentations and follow up with customers for upselling opportunities. 

 

Customer Relations

  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and technical questions. 

  • Respond to information requests and communicate client feedback internally. 

  • Represent Cegal at international industry events and proactively engage with customers. 

 

Planning and administration: 

  • Document and report sales activities, managing targets and reporting effectively. 

  • Collaborate with product managers and marketing specialists to plan and implement lead campaigns. 

 

Product and Market Knowledge: 

  • Develop a deep understanding of EnergyX products and keep up-to-date with portfolio changes. 

  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends. 

  • Provide internal stakeholders with market insights to further refine our product offerings and strategies. 

 

 

Who you are? 

To thrive in this role we believe you are people-person who share our passion for technology, and have a natural drive to exceed commercial targets. To succed you probably have: 
 

  • International sales or account management experience, ideally within the Oil and Gas sector 

  • Interest in and understanding of software development and delivery 

  • Commercial acumen and good business understanding 

  • Good presentation and communication skills, and can collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders 

  • Customer-centric approach with client satisfaction as a top priority. 

  • Experience related to Hydrocarbon Management would be an advantage
