Manager Network Operations
Are you a leader who is comfortable when the pace is high, trusted in critical situations, and motivated by building what comes next?
We are looking for a Manager Network Operations who combines deep technical credibility with strategic vision and strong people leadership. This is not a role for someone who only maintains the status quo. We need someone who can run critical operations today while shaping the network platforms of tomorrow.
You will lead global network operations supporting 200+ customers in complex, high‑availability environments — spanning traditional networks, cloud infrastructure, and virtual networking solutions.
What you will do:
- Lead the transition from device‑centric networking to software‑defined, policy‑driven, and Infrastructure‑as‑Code based network platforms.
- Establish network services as reusable platforms using standard architectures, automation, and guardrails.
- Lead and secure global network operations across LAN, WAN, SD‑WAN, cloud‑native, and virtualised network environments
- Drive the evolution of scalable network services through standard architectures, SD‑WAN/SDN capabilities, cloud‑native networking, and strong lifecycle automation.
- Use automation, Infrastructure as Code, and AI‑assisted operations to improve reliability, predictability, and speed—across design, change, incident response, and optimisation.
- Own lifecycle management, operational governance, and knowledge standards.
- Build high‑performing teams with the right skills, capacity, and mindset.
- Act as a calm and decisive leader during major incidents.
Who are you?
You are a leader who thrives in complexity. You combine strong technical credibility with the ability to think long‑term and at scale. You enjoy operating where architecture, operations, people, and customers intersect — and you are trusted when the pace is high and decisions matter. You are motivated by building robust, future‑ready network services, and by leading skilled teams in environments where quality, stability, and trust are critical.
We believe you have:
- Strong experience from complex network operations in global or enterprise environments.
- Deep understanding of network architecture, cloud networking, and virtualized environments.
- Experience evolving networks towards SD‑WAN, software‑defined and cloud‑native models.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and automation concepts (e.g. Terraform/Bicep, Git‑based workflows), even if not hands‑on.
- Ability to balance operational stability with deliberate simplification, standardisation, and reduction of unnecessary complexity.
- Proven ability to lead teams through high pressure, critical situations.
- Experience using operational data, KPIs, and tooling (e.g. ServiceNow) to drive improvement.
- A structured, calm, and trustworthy leadership style.
- The drive to question current models and create improved alternatives.
- Formal education is relevant, but proven experience and technical credibility matter most.
Why join us?
- You will shape how network services are delivered at a global scale
- You will have real influence on architecture, tooling, and operating models
- You will lead a team of 15 highly skilled professionals in an environment that values learning and improvement
- You will play a key role in building long‑term customer trust in a critical discipline
