Consultant/Senior Consultant - IT Consulting

As a consultant you will work on-prem at customer site and in-house from Cegal towards the customer, individually and in teams. You may also work in projects and assignments over shorter or longer periods, while maintaining a good connection with other colleagues in Cegal.
Work tasks and responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have a range of experience in different areas of IT and be able to provide technical guidance and support to customers.
Some of your work tasks might be:
- Provide technical guidance and support to customers and colleagues.
- Participate in projects related to virtualization, remote desktop solutions, security, compliance, and governance.
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures, and conduct risk assessments as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Assist clients with general user support, server maintenance, backup, and antivirus solutions.
- Participate in go-lives for new customers and manage larger rollouts of IT equipment both offshore and onshore.
- Coordinate and follow up with customers and vendors.
- On-prem and remote IT operations of our customers infrastructure
- Involvement in our Managed Services deliveries.
Qualifications:
- Have knowledge in one or several areas of IT like:
- IT operations Cloud/On-prem
- Cybersecurity
- Software deployment and support
- Networking and Firewall
- Excellent problem solvers, able to identify client needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Fluent in Norwegian
- Able to present technical information in clear, understandable terms to both technical and non-technical.
